Immortals Bronze Battle Presented by Bud Light

Immortals collaborated with Bud Light to host a friendly amateur tournament featuring four teams of League of Legends super-fans competing under the banner of the four LCS esports teams sponsored by Bud Light.

The final logo was designed to primarily reflect Bud Light’s branding as the connecting through line for the event, Twitch channel host, and primary sponsor.

The colors were Bud Light’s blues and included the famous branding seen on every Bud Light box and can.

The Bronze color was emphasized as something that would be immediately recognizable to every League of Legends fan, as one of most popular and marquee ranks in online play for amateurs.

As part of the advertisement for the tournament, we elected to include an illustration of our two co-hosts, Ovilee May and Captain Flowers. It was important to me that they could be very clearly identified by anyone who was a fan of the LCS.

The illustration needed to be recognizable as the two of them and included iconography from the four teams competing in the tournament: the Immortals beanie, the CLG shirt, the Evil Geniuses hoodie, and the plush of the Team Liquid mascot.

Broadcast Graphics

The broadcast graphics called back to the logo aesthetic and iconic Bud Light colors. Since the tournament took place in December, the background was a blend of icy colors and textures that were both in-line with the winter/holiday setting, plus the idea of cold glass of Bud Light.
